Had a family event nearby and stayed here for 3 nights. It is a beautiful old home and the host is gracious, kind and meticulously attentive to detail. I honestly felt we had made a friend. The breakfast was very good, there were always snacks and water available and our host was always at call yet never intrusive. I hope to stay here again in the future. All the best Purviance House!

The Purviance house is an amazing place to stay. Spotlessly clean and beds are incredibly comfortable! Barb is amazingly kind and a delightful host! Don't stay at a chain hotel, stay at this bed and breakfast. So glad I found this gem!!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Purviance! Barb and Brooks had the best hospitality, and the pecan praline French toast for breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Barb truly is a wonderful host and made check-in and check-out very simple. The house is impeccable - and our suite (Gernand) was very comfortable and the gas fireplace made it feel like home. Temperature in the room was just how we like it and very easy to control! And parking was well off the road and had great ease of access for unloading. We would HIGHLY recommend the Purviance! We plan to return.
My wife and I stayed in the Beck Suite and it was incredible. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very kind and friendly. They graciously accommodated my food allergies as well. 100% recommend if you’re looking to experience a genuine B&B or just near Huntington and looking for somewhere to stay.

Can’t say enough about this place. Barb is an absolute gem, one of the nicest people we’ve met. Very thoughtful and accommodating. Her breakfast was amazing both mornings. The room was beautiful, and had everything we needed for our stay. We felt very homey, and comfortable during our stay. We will definitely be back!
My stay at the Purviance House lacked nothing. From the beautifully decorated, clean, well-equipped suite awaiting me in a stunning historic building, to the superb customer service and warm welcome provided by owners Barb and Brooks, everything provided during my stay in Huntington was top-notch. Not to mention, the breakfasts simply cannot be beat.
